How it’s worked out

In South Australia rent can be increased no more than once in 12 months, even by agreement, and the tenant must be given at least 60 days’ written notice on the CBS form.

The earliest date shown is the later of 12 months after the last increase and 60 days after notice is given. A fixed-term lease must also allow an increase during its term.
